摘要
The radar system uses a combined transmission/reception antenna (A) providing circularly polarised transmission pulses. The corresponding echo signals are divided into opposing circular components for processing via separate reception paths. The compressed signals from both these paths are fed to a polarisation evaluation stage (AE1). The signals from one of paths are additionally subjected to Doppler filtration to obtain a Doppler signature which is subjected to a pattern recognition process to identify the target. Pref. the radar components (CO, X) are converted into the IF range prior to pulse compression of the echo signals.
