The first structural part (34) has a reception slot (25) for the gasket section (10) against which the second structural part presents a flat surface for making contact. The gasket section is provided with two hollow cvavities (30,31) extending continuously inside the section (10), as well as with at least respectively two sealing and clamping lips formed on the section outer surface. The gasket section for holding in the reception slot (25) defined by the diverging walls (37) has a main section essentially with congruent inclined side walls which in the transition region are drawn to a section base with respectively a turned up slot (17) for the clamping lips (18) which essentially protrude vertically to the main cross sectional axis of the section (10). The head distance of the clamping lips (18) corresponds to about the cross sectional measurement of the gasket section head (12). ADVANTAGE - Formed in simple shape and held esp. reliably and precisely in reception slot of corresp. structural part. Ensures excellent sealing against spray and water currents. For sealing gap between e.g. door frame and door, or between lamp and lamp housing.
