PURPOSE:To provide a resin compsn. which has a new function and is useful for a recording layer of an erasable optical recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. comprises a first high-molecular compd. having groups contg. coordination atoms in the side or main chain (e.g. a vinylpyridine polymer or copolymer), a color which can interact with the first high-molecular compd. (e. g. a phthalocyanine color contg. a central metal), and a second high- molecular compd. or oligomer having a low m. p. (e. g. polyethylene glycol), and exhibits spectral characteristics at a relatively high temp. (e. g. at least about the glass transition point of the first high-molecular compd.) different from those at a relatively low temp. (e.g. at least about the m.p. of the second high-molecular compd. or oligomer and not higher than the relatively high temp.). |
