A flat heating or cooling wall radiator comprises a plate with a number of longitudinal and transverse channels (18, 20) parallel to, and equidistant from, each other. The channels (18, 20) are separated by flat topped round projections (12) in rows equidistant apart, so that between each row a longitudinal or transverse groove runs. A flexible plastics tube (22) of the same diameter as the channels (18, 20) is clamped snakelike in the channels (18, 20) and the whole is then plastered over.
