发明名称 CONTROLLER FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE
摘要 PURPOSE:To suppress production of heat as a whole by stopping a part of converter and driving another part of converter with maximum output thereby supplementing the deficiency of power when the required power of a motor driving circuit is lower than the maximum output power of a converter group. CONSTITUTION:An AC high voltage is taken in from a pantograph PAN through a circuit breaker CB and stepped down through a transformer T to be fed to converters CV1, CV2. DC outputs of the CV1, CV2 are connected in parallel in order to drive an inverter IN to produce VVVF power for rotating a motor M. Assuming Po is required power of the IN, P1 and P2 are powers to be born by the CV1 and CV2 respectively, and P1m and P2m are the maximum output powers of the CV1 and the CV2 respectively, the CV2 is stopped if Po < P1m whereas the CV1 outputs P1m and the CV2 bears the deficiency of power if Po > P1m. A cooling mechanism is installed closely to the CV1. Consequently, cooling efficiency is enhanced resulting in suppression of total heat production.
