<p>Disclosed is a selflubricating composite material prepared from polymers, liquid lubricant and solid compound, used for the fabrication of bearing members. The composite material is characterized by solid compound contained therein and has been treated with titanates or silane compounds and mixed with liquid lubricant before blending with polymer. The liquid lubricant therein may further contain polar compounds and/or surfactant. Bearing members made by this selflubricating composite material have a lower friction coefficient, can use both thermo plastics and thermoplastics as a matrix and can be made into white or colored products.</p> |
