<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a magnetic tape from being torn off by alleviating stress worked on a tip part of a magnetic tape cartridge to be in contact with a leader block of the magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic tape cartridge 1 is provided with the leader block 4 fixed to the tip of the magnetic tape 3 to be wound and housed in a cartridge case 2, capable of carrying the magnetic tape 3 to the side of a machine reel by hooking a threader pin of a threading device at the time of winding the tape around the machine reel of a magnetic tape device by the threading device and then restraining the tape to the machine reel. A cushioning material 5 is provided on a part of the leader block 4 to be in contact with the magnetic tape 3. Then, the tip part of the magnetic tape 3 to be in contact with the leader block 4 is thickened.</p> |
