摘要 In a method for charging a plurality of electrochemical storage devices, cells, cell arrays and, in particular, batteries, aqueous electrolyte liquids are introduced into, and removed from, the individual anode or cathode spaces in each storage device at least occasionally and, in particular, all the time in a hydraulic parallel circuit. During charging, metallic zinc is deposited as a layer on the cathode and bromine is deposited at the anode, the bromine being converted into a complex which is sparingly soluble in water by a complexing agent dissolved in the aqueous electrolyte. A separate circuit and a separate feedstock container, as well as pumps, are provided for each electrolyte liquid. During the charging process, the charging state of the individual electrochemical stores is determined at intervals of time and the process of charging the store concerned is only discontinued at a specified value. <IMAGE>
