<p>An improved blend of alkyl methacrylate-grafted natural rubber and synthetic rubber suitable for use in a tire apex or bead composition is disclosed. The rubber of this invention allows for a stiffer bead bundle and tire bead shape stability without precuring. A method of employing the rubber in a tire bead and apex is also disclosed.</p> |
