An actuator cap for an aerosol dispenser which contains a flowable product under gas pressure and a delivery valve in a delivery channel, which delivery valve can be actuated through the actuator cap so that the product flows out through the delivery channel when the delivery valve is open, has an axial bore (2) which is coupled to the delivery channel, a transverse bore (3) leading from the axial bore (2) to an outlet nozzle (4), and a control member (5) for controlling the throughflow, which member (5) is inserted to fit into the axial bore, is axially displaceable and has a throttle bore (7). In order to maintain the throughflow with greater accuracy when the delivery valve is open, the control member (5) is made of largely rigid material and is displaceable due to the internal pressure of the aerosol dispenser counter to spring force (8) via the entry aperture (9) of the transverse bore (3) up to a stop (10) which stops the control member (5) in a position in which it blocks the largest part of the entry aperture (9). <IMAGE> |
