The invention relates to a cylinder/piston-controlled fuel injection for a two-stroke engine. A fuel pump 20, which is driven by pressure variations in the crankcase via a line, pumps fuel from a fuel tank 19 to a regulating valve 21 via an inlet where the fuel is divided. One part goes back via an outlet 22 to the fuel tank. The other part continues via an outlet 23 to a fuel regulator 25 with a fuel chamber 26 and a control diaphragm 27. The control diaphragm regulates the fuel quantity by means of a valve 29 (which is connected to the control diaphragm) against a seat 30 in the cylinder, so that, when a piston duct lies directly in front, fuel can be injected into the crankcase. The position of the control diaphragm 27 depends on the position of a gas throttle valve 35 and, with this, negative pressure in a duct 34, a spring 31, the position of an adjusting screw 24 and prevailing pump pressure. In the event of rapid acceleration, the fuel regulator also functions as an acceleration pump as a result of the pressure increase which takes place in the duct 34, and an extra quantity of fuel is pressed into the crankcase by the control diaphragm 27. <IMAGE> |
