DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM WITH DISPLAY WINDOW

PURPOSE: To enable an operator to detect the existence or selected objects on the outside of a window at the time when a list of data objects is too large to be all displayed in the window in a data processing system. CONSTITUTION: The data processing system displays a window 270 and scroll bars 280 and 290 on a display device. Scroll bars indicate positions in an array 250 of data objects 260, which are selected from the array 250 of data objects and are not displayed in the window at present, by markers 320 and 330 on these scroll bars.
