发明名称 SERVO TYPE DISK BRAKE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To decrease a tilt angle of a brake main unit, in the case of a servo type disk brake in which a servo pressure is generated based on corotation torque of the brake main unit of supporting a brake pad. CONSTITUTION:Caliper 22 serving as a brake main unit is rotatably mounted to a steering knuckle 16 by a pair of links 50 eccentrically placed from an axial line L of a rotor 10 further separated mutually in a peripheral direction of the rotor and also extended in the radical direction of the rotor 10. When corotation torque acts on the caliper 22 at braking time, both the links 50 are turned in a plane at a right angle with the axial line L to turn the caliper 22 almost about the axial line L of the rotor 10. Accordingly, a tilt angle of the caliper 22 is decreased, and by this amount, a diameter of the disk rotor can be increased to obtain sufficient braking power.</p>
