<p>PURPOSE:To enhance efficiency by heating glass fiber-reinforced plastic over the softening point, passing the same through rolls or an endless belt in a manner of making a bank and forming continuously sheet-shaped bodies. CONSTITUTION:A molded product 10 composed of glass fiber-reinforced polypropylene containing, for example, 40wt.% of nonoriented glass fiber or at least 3mm, for example, 13mm is placed on a belt 12 of a heating oven 11, heated thereon and plasticized. Then the same is fed into a gap 16 formed between heated rolls 14 and 15 in a manner of forming a bank 17. The same is turned into a sheet while passing through the roll gap to adhere to the surface of roll 15. The adhered sheet is peeled off by a scraper 18 and taken out as a sheet 19.</p> |
