<p>The subject of the present invention is a device for winding and unwinding cables, particularly hoisting cables for travelling cranes. The device comprises a frame (2) on which are disposed a winder (3) intended to receive a first empty drum for winding a worn cable, the said winder (3) being formed from a rotating shaft (4) and from a plate (6) for driving the said first drum, fitted onto the said shaft (4), means for rotationally driving the winder (3), an unwinder (7) intended to receive a second drum provided with a new cable for unwinding the latter, the said unwinder (7) being formed from a socket (sleeve) (8) and from a rotating support plate (9) fitted onto the said socket (sleeve) (8), and means (10) for slowing down the rotation of the unwinder (7). <IMAGE></p> |
