PURPOSE:To prevent passengers from failing to get on an elevator by limiting the number of elevators for allocation control according to a pressed hall call button position. CONSTITUTION:Eight elevators from No.1 to No.8 are made into one group, and an elevator hall is provided with six hall buttons 2. When the button A among hall buttons 2 is pressed, the processing of selecting-determining the optimum elevator among No.1-No.4 elevators close to the button A is performed so as to be the group control of four elevators. At this time, all the button response lamps are lighted so as to be the same as the group control of eight elevators for a passenger. In case there are many passenger waiting in the hall so as to be no getting-on failure because of sufficient getting-on time even when the elevator distant from the pressed hall button arrives, the optimum elevator is selected-determined among all the elevators so as to be the group control of eight elevators. Service is thereby improved without lowering the efficiency of group control. |
