PURPOSE:To enable the processing of a mirror surface on the inner wall of a thin tube without chemicals, by applying and adhering abrasive to a strand passed through the thin tube and moving the strand while rotating the thin tube. CONSTITUTION:A strand 2 of a diameter larger than the inner diameter of a thin tube 1 with a mirror surface to be processed is passed through the thin tube 1. A liquid abrasive 3 is coated and impregnated on the strand 2 to pool the abrasive in groove portions in the strand 2. Then the strand 2 is moved in the thin tube 1 while rotating the tube 1, and by the relative motion between the thin tube 1 and the strand 2, the strand 2 can be pressure contacted to the inner wall of the thin tube 1 to mirror grind it with the abrasive 3 applied to the strand 2 and supplied deeply to the end of the tube 1. |
