MARKER DOT DETECTION SYSTEM FOR COLOR PICTURE RECORDER

PURPOSE:To implement designation of an editing area with a marker dot. CONSTITUTION:A template mask means 2 outputs a marker dot detection signal so long as a marker dot size is entirely overlapped with a 1st template mask 7 and not entirely overlapped with a 2nd template mask 6. However, when a marker dot detection signal is continuously outputted, only a first signal is made valid. A picture element position detection means 5 detects a picture element position of a picture element in the center of the picture element inputted to the template mask means 2 in an original picture. A picture element position decision means 4 decides a picture element position detected by a picture element position detection means 5 as a marker dot coordinate when a HIT signal is noticed from the marker dot discrimination means 3 and outputs the coordinate data of the decided coordinate as above.
