<p>PURPOSE:To reduce cost required for a jam backup function. CONSTITUTION:Printing data in an input buffer input from a host computer and stored are extracted and page data are prepared in a page buffer on a RAM, and the page data are stored in a disk device as a page film while the page data are developed in a bit map buffer and transmitted over an engine and printing is conducted. When paper jamming is generated during printing, the page file of a page generating paper jamming is loaded in the page buffer on the RAM from the disk device, and printing is reopened from the page.</p> |
