PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a void or a pin hole in a molding even under a condition of repetition of molding operation over a long hour, in production of the molding by charging a fluid molding material composed of a norbornene monomer, etc., into a mold. CONSTITUTION:The content of low-boiling gas components contained in a fluid molding material obtained by blending 1mol norbornene monomer (e.g. cyclopentadiene) with 0.01-50mmol, preferably 0.1-20mmol metathesis catalyst (e.g. halide of tungsten, molybdenum, etc.) is maintained to <=0.05Nml, preferably <=0.04Nml based on 1ml molding material. |
