PURPOSE:To surely and easily transfer a received picture data to a desired transfer destination by registering a facsimile equipment number being a transfer destination of a received picture to a nonvolatile RAM in advance. CONSTITUTION:When a call comes from a facsimile equipment, a picture data is received and stored in a picture memory RAM 3. Then the transfer mode is checked, and when the mode is set to the transfer mode, a nonvolatile RAM 4 is referenced to detect a facsimile equipment number being the transfer destination and the number is dialed. When the line is connected to the equipment, the received picture data stored in the RAM 3 is sent, when the transmission is normally terminated, the line is disconnected and the operation is finished, the fact of picture transfer is informed to a pocket bell. Furthermore, when the transmission is not normal, redialing is implemented and when the transmission is disabled regardless of repetition of dialing for a prescribed number of times, the processing is terminated as an error. Thus, the received picture data is surely and easily transferred to the desired transfer destination. |
