PURPOSE:To provide the color display device which does not generate light leakage by adopting inexpensive color filters having light shielding films possessing a high light shielding property. CONSTITUTION:This process consists of a stage for forming the color filter 3 on a glass substrate 1, a stage for forming org. films 4 between the color filters 3, a stage for forming a protective film 5 on the color filters 3, a stage for forming a transparent conductive thin film 6 on the protective film 5, a stage for forming a metallic film 7 on the transparent conductive thin film 6, and a stage for patterning the metallic film 7. The org. films 4 are subjected to front surface exposing by using a photosensitive resin. The inexpensive color display device which is improved in the light shielding property and has high quality is supplied in this way. |
