PICTURE PROCESSING METHOD AND SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To obtain synthetic pictures accurately connecting plural pictures to be adhered even when they are arbitrary shaped pictures other than rectangular ones. CONSTITUTION:Masks for deleting unnecessary parts from first and second pictures to be adhered are prepared for each picture and common masks to be overlapped when pictures are adhered are obtained. The outer edge of the common mask is extracted and the connection direction of the picture is decided based on it. The adhesion of picture is performed by deciding the connection line on the line linking the boundary line of this direction.
