<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the forced end of a program by executing automatically a power source disconnection processing of a personal computer. CONSTITUTION:A state managing device 1-3 manages the state of a program of a central processing unit 1-2, and in the case no program is present thereon or in the case of a waiting state for an operator's intervention, the measurement starting instruction of a timer is executed by a timer device 1-4. In the case the program is present or in the case of the state of an operator's intervention, a measurement ending of the timer and its release are instructed. In the case the lapse of a prescribed time is measured, the timer device 1-4 saves the present state of a memory and the state of the CPU 1-2 in a saving device 1-6, and a storage device 1-8, and also, at the time point when saving is finished, an instruction is given to a power source unit 1-5, and a main power source is disconnected. On the other hand, when the power source is turned on again, a restoration processing is executed, it is returned to a state before disconnection. In such a manner, the forced end of the program caused by a man's misoperation is prevented, and also, the power consumption caused by a fact that a non-operating state is continued for long time can be curtailed.</p> |
