The present invention relates to a band-loading apparatus for easily loading a band in a band-feeding mechanism from a band coil through the intermediary of the band inlet and outlet of a pool box, feeding the band from the band coil to the pool box, and easily resetting the band into the band-feeding mechanism when the band runs off from the mechanism. The band-loading apparatus is provided with a balance bar which swings because of the band pooled in a pool box; means for detecting the swing; a pivotably rotating guide bar which permits the band-feeding mechanism to communicates with the band outlet of the pool box through the intermediary of the pool box, which supports one end o the balance bar facing in the direction of the band outlet, which faces the band outlet opposite the balance bar, and which has a length not greater than the width of the pool box; and a pre-feed roller, having a notch at a portion of the outer circumference thereof, which defines a clearance for allowing the band to pass between the outer circumference of a traveling roller, the pre-feed roller is arranged opposite a guide chuter; whereby the band is fed by means of the band-feeding mechanism because of a signal produced from the means for detecting the rotation of the pre-feed roller. |
