<p>PURPOSE:To stably perform the tracking by using each ATF signal of + azimuthal track to be read by A head at the 1st revolution and - azimuthal track to be read by B head at the 2nd revolution respectively in double scanning and working an AFT servo accordingly. CONSTITUTION:At the time of reproducing a tape recorded by 32K-LP mode, a drum is rotated at 2, 000 r.p.m., and the ATF servo is worked in reading twice one track. That is, in this double-scan tracking system, the ATF signal of + azimuthal track Ai to be read by the A head at the 1st revolution in double scanning is only used. Or the ATF signal of - azimuthal track Bi to be read by the B head at the 2nd revolution in double scanning is only used, and the ATF servo is worked respectively. By this method, even when misalignment in the vertical direction between both A and B heads exists, the tracking can stably be performed.</p> |
