PURPOSE:To improve the differences of spectral characteristics due to various particle diameters of fine dye particles and drop of panel characteristics due to the roughness of the surface of the color filter, to enable reduction of film thickness as compared with the conventional method and threshold voltage as the panel, and to enhance its film forming speed and productivity. CONSTITUTION:The color filter is formed by preparing an aqueous micelle colloid solution of the fine dye particles having a colloid particle diameter distribution having a peak in <=1800nm and containing a surfactant in an amount of 0. 05-0.125mmmol per 1mmmol of the dye, and decomposing the micelles by electrolysis, depositing the fine dye particles and forming the thin dye film on a conductive body. |
