PURPOSE:To provide a camera range-finder in which errors in range finding are eliminated, the void preventing effect is high, and also, time lag is little. CONSTITUTION:This range-finder is provided with a turning frame 5, a turning detecting part composed of an IRED 3 and a PSD held by the turning frame 5 integrally 4, a specific arithmetic circuit 9, a stationary photoelectric current removing circuit 10, a stationary photolevel monitor 11, and a CPU 6. The timing of the light emission of the IRED 3 and the driving of the turning frame 5 are controlled by the ouytput of the stationary photolevel monitor 11 which monitors change in the stationary photoelectric current from the PSD 4 with time, so that more accurate range-finding information is obtained within the range where a big time lag is not generated. |
