PURPOSE:To provide a water-soluble lubricant compsn. for metal working with excellent resistance to rusting and bioegradation (including presistence of the effect of biodegradation resistance) while keeping lubricating properties. CONSTITUTION:A water-soluble lubricant compsn. for metal working wherein one or more compd. selected from the group consisting of glyoxal, glutaraldehyde and formalin-releasing compd. [hexahydro-1,3,5-tri(2-hydroxyethyl)- s-triazine, N-(2-hydroxyproply)aminomethanol, etc.] and an amine (monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, triethanolamine, morpholine, N-methylmorpholine, polyethyleneimine, etc.) are essential ingredients. |
