FLUID STERILIZING PROCESS AND DEVICE

A process and device whereby a fluid is fed along a duct at least partially formed from unwettable material transparent to ultraviolet rays. The duct extends through an airtight casing which presents an air inlet and an outlet communicating with the duct, and houses at least one light source located outside the duct and in front of the transparent portion of the same; which source is designed to emit ultraviolet rays of such a wave length as to ozonize the air inside the casing.
