The invention relates to the use of compounds consisting of podophyllotoxin and its derivatives of the formula in which R1 denotes hydrogen or hydroxyl, and R3 denotes hydrogen or methyl, for producing pharmacological preparations for treating collagenoses, such as rheumatoid arthritis.
