A process for preparing Woowhangchungshimwon comprises (a) extracting Jinseng, Hoelen, Scutellaria, Armeniaca, Cnidii, etc. with a nonpolar solvent, (b) reflux-extracting the obtd. residues with a low polar solvent, (c) reflux-extracting the obtd. residues with a halogenated hydrocarbon, (d) reflux-extracting the obtd. residues with a water soluble organic solvent, (e) extracting the obtd. residues with purified wate which contg. an antioxidant, nonionic surfactant and cyclodextrin stabilizer at 80-100 deg.C for 8-24 hrs., (f) mixing the obtd. extracts with Yongnoi and Musk extracts, and (g) mixing the obtd. mixture with Benzoar bovis dispersed-purified water.
