<p>In a transport system, in which conveyor means have to be transferred from a main line into a plurality of junction lines, a switch tongue which can be changed over to the main line has hitherto been used for each of the junction lines. However, the switch tongues require a specific bend radius, so that it has not been possible to reduce the distance between the junction lines to the extent desired.
