BRAILLE PRINTED MATTER GENERATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain Braille printed matter in quantities at a high speed by using nonimpact printing technique. CONSTITUTION:Character and pattern information on a document is outputted as a control signal by a computer 7. A writing head 12 projects light on the surface of a rotary drum 11 which is charged electrostatically to a specific quantity according to the control signal to form an electrostatic latent image. Toner of large particle size is supplied from a developing unit 13 to develop the electrostatic latent image. A transfer unit 15 transfers the toner to a form 14 to form steps for Braille. The toner is fixed by a fixing unit 16 to obtain the Braille printed matter 17.
