PURPOSE:To realize an effective treatment with the strong power of eliminating the nitrogen on the form of ammonia and a trace quantity of organic compounds, by attaining the early startup of the method of for treating with active carbon. CONSTITUTION:As active carbon filled in an active carbon treatment tower with a fixed bed, active carbon of coconut husks A is placed in the upper part of the treatment column, while active carbon of coal B is placed in the lower part of the treatment column. Microorganisms are proliferat on the active carbon of coconut husks A placed in the upper part of the treatment column to eliminate the nitrogen on the form of ammonia, while a trace quantity of organic compounds are eliminated with the active carbon of coal placed in the lower part of the treatment column. During the startup period of the methods for treating organisms with active carbon, an ozone treatment is stopped to prevent the sterilization of the microorganisms such as nitrifying bacteria to be probiferat on the active carbon. |
