PURPOSE:To keep the quantity of the developer of a developing part at a prescribed value and to stabilize developing characteristics in a recorder for attaining development in such a manner that the developer is supplied to an electrostatic latent image carrier and the abutting part of an abutting member on which a prescribed potential is kept. CONSTITUTION:Recovery grooves 402 and 403 are provided outside a recording region, on, at least, either of the electrostatic latent image carrier 1 and the abutting member 5 and the developer staying on the abutting part is flowed into the recovery groove to be recovered, so that the developer held on the developing part is kept at a prescribed quantity. |
