<p>PURPOSE:To secure the stability when the end of a rolled steel sheet passes through a rolling stand. CONSTITUTION:Positions delta1, delta2 of the rolled steel sheet are detected on the inlet side and the outlet side of a hot rolling mill and the positional deviation delta0 directly below the roll bite is predicted form the delta1, delta2. At this time, the correlative coefficient of delta0 to delta2 is calculated, when the detection of delta1 on the inlet side can not be performed, delta0 is predicted from delta2 by using the correlative coefficient. The difference between the right and left gaps of the work roll is corrected based on the predicted delta0.</p> |
