PURPOSE:To prevent the function loss of a whole transmission line by providing a light receiving part, a photoelectric converter connected to the light receiving part and a controller part which analyzes a converted electric signal as reception data. CONSTITUTION:A reception-only station 5 is provided with a light reception mechanism 3B without having a luminous mechanism. Plural transmission/ reception stations 2 are connected to an optical bus network 1 and the reception- only station 5 is connected also to it. A noninterference type reception device 4 is applied to the reception-only station 5 and the network 1 is construced. Namely, the noninterference type reception device 4 is connected to the optical bus network 1 in the same way as the other transmission/reception stations 2, and it has only the light reception part 3B, whereby it does not take part in a handshake between the transmission/reception stations. Thus, it becomes unnecessary to output a control signal for the handshake from the noninterference type reception device 4 to the optical bus network 1, and the light receiving part 3A becomes unnecessary. Thus, the function loss of the whole optical bus network due to the fault of the noninterference type reception device 4 and the reception-only station 5 can be avoided. |
