<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image receiving material with an undercoat layer ensuring especially satisfactory adhesiveness of the image receiving layer to the substrate. CONSTITUTION: This image receiving material is a sheet-, ribbon- or web-shaped material with a substrate made of paper coated with a synthetic resin or a layer of the resin. The resin surface of the substrate has been coated with an undercoat layer coated with a hydrophilic colloidal image receiving layer contg. developing nuclei for forming a silver image by DTR processing. The synthetic resin is polycarbonate or PP resin and the undercoat layer contains 1.3 to 80wt.% colloidal protein such as gelatin or casein, 0 to 85wt.% colloidal silica, 1.0 to 70wt.% polyester polyurethane as an ionogen imparted from an aq. dispersion liq. and 0 to 30wt.% siloxane capable of forming a reactional product with the colloidal silica.</p> |
