PURPOSE:To make possible a precise resin molding by a method wherein dam blocks are respectively provided with each protrusion part, which projects toward the side surface of a lead frame within the clearance between each communicating path and the lead frame and inhibits a resin flow in each communicating path at the time of the resin molding. CONSTITUTION:In order to prevent a resin flow in communicating paths 18 to connect resin molding parts 10 with each other, dam blocks 14 are respectively provided with each protrusion part 14a to make contact with the side surfaces of each dam bar 12 in each communicating path 18. When a lead frame 20 is clamped by a molding die, the protrusion parts 14a make contact with the side surfaces of the bars 12 and act so as to stop the resin flow in the parts of the communicating paths 18. Practically, the protrusion parts 14a may be brought into contact with the side surfaces of the bars 12 and a clearance between the protrusion parts 14a and the side surfaces of the bars 12 may be set narrow in a degree that the resin flow can be stopped. Thereby, a precise resin molding becomes possible. |
