PURPOSE:To inexpensively prepare the title ion generator capable of forming a highly detailed image by fixing a dielectric and an electrode without obstructing the generation of an ion. CONSTITUTION:An ion generator is prepared by employing a process forming a dielectric layer 3 by coating the surfaces of a first electrode or electrode forming material and a second electrode or electrode forming material with dielectric paste obtained by dispersing a ceramic powder in a polyimide resin solution, a process superposing the other electrode or electrode forming material on the dielectric layer 3 or the other electrode or electrode forming material on the dielectric layer 3 and a process activating the dielectric layer 3 under heating to fix the same to the other electrode or to the dielectric layer 3 on the other electrode. |
