PURPOSE:To provide a string material having low rigidity in netknitting process and increased rigidity after knitting a net and enabling the incorporation of an antifouling material and to provide an underwater construction having light- weight and excellent antifouling effect and capable of keeping the shape of the net. CONSTITUTION:The objective string material is composed of a core and a sheath covering the circumference of the core, wherein the core is made of a material containing a thermosetting resin and a thermoplastic resin and the sheath is made of a material containing a thermoplastic resin. The underwater construction is constructed of the string material produced by covering a core made of a material containing a thermosetting resin and a thermoplastic resin with a sheath made of a material containing a thermoplastic resin. |
