<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet carrying device at low cost, which is capable of automatically feeding plural sheets continuously, and enabling given treatment by register-adjusting fed sheets to a prescribed position by simple control. CONSTITUTION:To discharge a preceding sheet P from a paper-discharging roller 5 before the tip of a succeedingly fed sheet P reaches a paper-feeding roller 4, a relation of (L1+L2)/V2<L1/V1 is satisfied, where V1: the peripheral speed of a separation roller 2, V2: the peripheral speed of the paper-feeding and paper-discharging rollers 4 and 5, L1: a distance between the separation and the paper-deeding rollers 2 and 4, and L2: a distance between the paper- feeding and the paper-discharging rollers 4 and 5. Also register adjusting can be made by simple control to only turning on/off all these rollers concurrently.</p> |
