PURPOSE:To enable high-speed file transmission/reception. CONSTITUTION:A terminal control equipment 2 is equipped with a work station management part 5, communication management part 6 and file transmission/ reception management part 7. A file transmission/reception bit is provided for instructing transmission/reception from the magnetic disk device of the terminal control equipment 2 during a text header from a personal computer 4. The work station management part 5 monitors the file transmission/reception bit. When the file transmission/reception bit is turned on, the file transmission/ reception management part 7 is activated, and the file transmission/reception from the magnetic disk device of the terminal control equipment 2 is controlled. Therefore, since the file on the side of the terminal control equipment is directly transmitted/received, there is the effect of enabling the high-speed file transmission/reception.
