The back column (5) is for position fixing of a back plate (6) adjustable relatively to the seat. The back plate is both flexibly self-adjustable and adjustably fixed in the back column end part (7), partly by means of friction between at least a flange (9) projecting outwards from the back plate and a connected torsion device (25) and partly through an automatic self-adjustment of the back plate around a neutral position by means of the torsion device (25). The torsion device incorporates a core or inner components (14), which comprises at least three longitudinal plane side walls, an outer components (16) with the same contour as the inner component and whose corner parts in a neutral position are located centrally to the inner component side walls central part. |
