<p>PURPOSE:To enhance a tone quality at the time of speed change or reproducing by recording audio data in different channels in different fields, reading and reproducing data corresponding to the reproduced field by thinning at the time of reproducing. CONSTITUTION:When audio data to be recorded on a recording medium 9 has a vacant channel, the delayed data is read out from memory means 3, and recorded in the vacant channel. Then, at the time of reproducing at a double speed, the data recorded in the vacant channel is simultaneously reproduced, and stored in memory means 13. If data corresponding to audio data not reproduced due to jumping from a track is stored, a time base is varied by converting means 15, or interpolated and read out. Thus, when an audio signal is reproduced at a double speed in a VTR, continuity of the output audio data can be realized, thereby improving tone quality of obtained audio data.</p> |
