The wire (6) passes through a C-section elastic cable cleat (5) into a shaped hollow body (8) occupying a chamber (2) in the plug casing (1), with lips (9) preventing entry of moisture and dirt into the cable duct (7). The body (8) is inserted (E) into the chamber (2) to lie flat on its floor (4) while sealing ribs or lips (14) fit closely around its end wall (3). The normal (N) to the seal plane (DE) is inclined (alpha) at 30 deg. max. USE/ADVANTAGE - In automotive fuel injectors with hot-wire air intake flowmeters. Very compact seal, esp. suited to right-angle entry plugs.
