The fuel oil is pumped through a preheater (1) secured by a nut (4) to the casing (3') of a magnetic valve whose armature (13) is held by a spring (28) against its seating (22) until the coil (6) is energised. The casing (3') is rotatable in a predetermined alignment with the coil connection (30). The external dia. of the valve equals approximately the dia. of the holder (25) into which the nozzle (27) is screwed (26) leaving a gap (24) around the oil passage (23).
