PURPOSE:To provide a hollow ultrasonic motor having stabilized characteristics by specifying the relation between the pressurizing mechanism of a mover at an output transmitting section, the exciting frequency of an oscillator and the number of protrusions thereby suppressing noise and enhancing contact between the mover and the oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The ratio(k/m) between the number(m) of pressurizing points of a rotary mechanism section 2 and the exciting frequency(k) of an oscillator 6 is set not to be an integer. Consequently, relative contact position between the pressure deforming position of the mover 3 and the peak of resilient oscillation wave of the oscillator 6 is set randomly resulting in improvement of contact. |
