PURPOSE:To improve an active material utilization ratio for a paste type nickel pole for an alkaline storage battery, and improve its stability. CONSTITUTION:In a nickel pole for an alkaline storage battery for which active material paste comprizing nickel hydroxide powders mainly and including cobalt oxide comprising CoO and/or Co2O3 of a chemical formula is filled in an alkali- resistant metal porous body, such a substance which is dried under a condition of a nickel pole surface temperature of 200 deg.C or less is used, as the active material paste. |
